BIO: Peter "Cozmo" Colón

Peter Colon's artistic journey began early in life when he was a child. It was always his niche to grab anything laying around the house, mounting it on top of a flat surface, and then hastily sketching the object on the back of his text book end sheet in hopes to replicate what he was observing. While drawing creative sketches for dad to hang on the refrigerator like most 9 year olds do, Peter's parents knew deep in his heart that he was no ordinary 9 year old boy when he came to realize his son's unconditional passion for art and extremely creative ideas.
Throughout his childhood, both of Peter's parents encouraged him often to explore his new found admiration for drawing; signing him into just about every elementary art convention that was showcased at his school. There was practically nothing that didnt interest his eye from not challenging himself. With such ambition to learn new ideas, information became the daily craving in order to propel his hands into crafting the best artwork he was able to produce for family and friends.
Peter fell in love more & more as his restless talent grew in skill, but not so long after Peter began his journey to mastering his craft; his focus was put on the back burner distracted by what the streets of North Philadelphia influenced him to be instead. Through his mid teens, as all teens do, he lost complete focus of his talent and ultimately engulfed his life with negative surroundings. He worked for several minimum wage corporate companies and had airbrushing jobs on the side at the Market Street Gallery in Philadelphia and on the street sidewalks of Margaret and Orthodox; in order to keep balance of his lifestyle. Peter's qualifications were quickly out growing his jobs so in 2003 he finally chose to commit his heart and soul to what he does best, and that was manifesting Art into Life.
Through out the years as he inclined in mastering his unique skill, many were always giving compliments to his work with statements always ending something similar to "I am completely lost at the amount of detail", "This has me in outer space man"etc. So as conversations of this aspect continued in friendship with others, he was dubbed "Cozmo" and has been called this ever since. It was then several years later that Cozmik Creationz came into effect.
Airbrushing t-shirts, cars, motorcycles, walls, sneakers, and everything in between, Peter was painting anything he could get his hands on. A new mind set with the help of his father changed the way he saw his personal life and way of thinking, which in result led Peter to making the ultimate decision on learning everything he possibly could for the benefit of his future career. This is what ultimately lead him to finally move to Arizona and turn a new leaf on life from every aspect for the betterment of his airbrushing career; and it has never been the same ever since.
His unique style and acute eye for detail was astonishing, so much so that Peters masterpieces started gracing the walls all around the burrows of Philadelphia. It was only after him mastering the craft of custom airbrushing, that Graphic Designing and Film Making eventually inspired him to push the envelope once more.
The art of Website Building, Graphic Illustration, and producing research-based professional videos gradually became everything that he once thought would be the only aspect of his skill that he was never going to know how to create. His commitment to learning these completely new methods of artistry finally put his level of skill on the forefront.
He produced countless Album Covers for Aspiring Artists', along with dozens of informative video productions... to designing headers for professional websites. Within this, he was finally able to indistinctively mesh his eye for detail on the Canvas board, to the illustration grids on the computer screen. It has not been the same ever since then. He has certainly come a long way; starting out as a young amateur airbrushing book bags and T-shirts to becoming a well known professional artist recognized from state to state for his airbrushing artistry. He has much more to offer and continues to develop new ideas every day.
